£8,500 rasied at the 2026 Half Moon Music Festival
The Half Moon garden in Sheet, near Petersfield was alive with music, laughter, and community spirit from 14 to 18 July as over 1,000 people gathered for the 8th annual Half Moon Music Festival, raising £8,500 for The Rosemary Foundation.
Across five days, the festival presented a wonderful mix of live entertainment, from musical theatre, choirs, and opera to acoustic sets, jazz, blues, ska and high-energy party nights. One highlight came on Wednesday evening, when visitors could choose between choir and opera in the theatre or watching England's World Cup semi-final on the big screen; giving friends and families a genuine 'something for everyone' experience.
Now in its 8th year, the Half Moon Music Festival has become a fixture in the Petersfield music and social calendar. It is a perfect example of our community coming together to enjoy fantastic entertainment, while supporting The Rosemary Foundation and the incredible care they provide. Robert Ingram and Chris Pellet of Entertainment Events, who organise the festival paid warm tribute to the performers who gave their time and talent, the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, The Half Moon who host the event and the enthusiasm of the audiences.
The £8,500 raised will be put to immediate good use by The Rosemary Foundation to support local families facing life-limiting illness.
