Hawkley Beer Festival raises £4,150

The Petersfield Festival Season kicks off with sunshine, live music, and community spirit

The 2025 Hawkley Inn Beer Festival with Music launched this year’s Petersfield Festival Season in true style, welcoming hundreds of guests over four sessions across the weekend of 16–18 May 2025. With glorious sunshine, fantastic live acts, and a packed garden full of happy faces, the event raised an impressive £4,150 for The Rosemary Foundation, a local hospice-at-home charity.

The festival – organised by Entertainment Events Ltd in partnership with The Hawkley Inn – featured a wide-ranging lineup of talent, including Black Cherry Jam, Ollie Hutton, Amy Mills, Chicago 9, Remedy (formerly Rehab Blues), Fate of the Magpie, Intelligence Men, Parallel Lines, Fleur Ash, Cascade Chorus, The Boost Button, and Rescue Mission, which included a guest performance from Hawkley landlady Zoe MacDonald herself.

Guests enjoyed great food, a handpicked beer selection, and new for this year, a nearby field provided free parking with the option to leave cars overnight – a welcome touch that allowed everyone to relax and make the most of the festival atmosphere.

Organisers Chris and Robert from Entertainment Events Ltd said:
“We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the Hawkley Festival such a success — from the performers and pub staff, to our volunteers and of course every guest who bought a ticket and made dinations. It was a fantastic start to the Petersfield Festival Season, and a real show of what local community events can achieve.”

The full £4,150 raised from ticket sales and donations has already been donated to The Rosemary Foundation.

Next up in the 2025 Petersfield Festival Season is the Half Moon Festival, taking place 15–19 July at The Half Moon, Sheet. With a packed schedule of musical entertainment and the same charitable spirit, it promises another unforgettable week of community, music, and fundraising. Tickets and details are available now at www.entertainment-events.co.uk.
